Dan is joking, probably to pull my leg......the truth:
Ask John Hinckley, or Dan Ross, who made the initial "*** -Cam" suggestion, and lobbied to get it thru. {Hinckley made it easy!}
JRT's Dan Ross spearheaded the project.
As a result, John Hinckley's letter came with the camera, citing a "VCA Officer" who made the suggestion. That meddler was me. These "Assembly Cams" were manually numbered, 000-100 and no two were used the same. CAAP intentionally left 3-4 BLANK in each Cam so that the owner could record the delivery process as well.
That letter encouraged owners to ask for the return of the disposable, numbered camera.
As a result of my suggestion, Dan Ross/John Hinckley sent me Assembly Cam #000 of 100, and a thank you letter. That camera remains intact, and un-processed.
