I was under the car yesterday and noted that various positioning of connectors are different from the download version T-56 on the Tremec web(manufacture). Also read the FAQ on this site and found the T-56 skip-shift connector but the tranmission described is for the Gen ll; anyone know where I can download the transmission repair manual SPECIFIC TO THE SRT; my CTS-V has a T-56 and several connectors are different from the SRT one.

While I do not know where you can download an SRT manual, I have one... what exactly do you want to know? I even have an SRT T-56 out of the car handy as well.

The inner workings of all T-56's are basically the same. The only differences I have noted on SRT transmissions from previous generations are the countershaft assemblies and lack of a speed sensor, the SRT uses the ABS system to run the Speedometer.
