Ram Air mod

Well my warranty is up so
i can start doing some mods now. First thing
i wanna address is the ram air system. Im going to remove the rain gaurd but it the any othe leaks or holes I need to plug up in the airbox or intake system to truely make it ram air?

I have heard some people have tried removing that and its set off CEL or caused issues with the MAP sensor. All 2nd hand, never experienced it first hand but I too have been curious about removing the rain guard.

No real performance gain. The Gen 5 doesn't even have the rain guard now, you can see the filter clearly through the hole. I removed it on my '08 hood, no issues.
