If you guys are talking about the vibrating type rattly noise...there is a fix. I think it is more common on the later Vipers that have the metal button.
Anyhow, you need to remove the console. The big part on the top of the trans tunnel. Or, at least take out the screws so that you can rotate it up and get to the brake handle where it meets the floor. (You will need to remove the radio bezel to get at two of the screws.)
You will see where a thin slice of metal comes along the handle. This is the release for the ratchet mechanism and goes from the button to the ratchet. It is where this thin pice of metal goes along the metal handle that causes the rattle. Take a piece of the soft side of velcro and stick it to the handle under the think metal part, towards the bottom. You may have to clean some grease out first for the velcro to stick. This cushions it enough to stop the noise.
I did it in my car and it worked. I origianlly thought the sound was coming from the dash. If memory serves me...this is the Dodge fix for it.
