I’m thinking about dropping the two rear cats, are these clamped in or do they need to be cut out?

Agree with Daniel, keep them.

If you do cut them out, many of us would be interested in buying them.

Are you looking for better sound? If so I would loose the muffler first and see how
you like it, just had this done to my 09, no drone, quite at constant throttle cruise,
nice idle and aggressive when you get on it.

Previous owner on my car had replaced the mufflers with straight pipes. He had left the cross over and was just using the cats to muffle the exhaust note. It popped allot when lifting off the throttle, but still sounded good. I just replaced everything with random techs and corsa's. Either way you will wake the car up.
