Regi and inspection sticker placement

Does anyone know if it is against the law to place the registration sticker and inspection sticker on the passenger side of the windshield instead of the driver side?
They make these stickers so big that I'm trying to find a spot to place it on the driver side windshield so it doesn't obstruct my view over the driver side fender. If I place it more toward the steering wheel portion of the windshield, it will be hard to scrape off when the time comes because of the **** on the dashboard.
I guess I could just go to the Police Precinct down the street and ask.

I cut the bottom off to make them shorter and place them lower. Also move them so they block your view of the front fender rather than fully on the left. Most stations have a long stick with a razor on the end and can reach down there. Chuck's is made of platium with a diamond edge cutter, of course.

Hey guys.....go to any sign or sticker place and get the static paper, like the stickers for windows that have no adhesive, they are held on by static. Place your regi and inspection stickers on them and they easily come off. I did mine and did test it on the highway with the top down, just a little more that the speed limit and they stay just fine!!!

I never knew you guys put it on that side. In CA we put on passenger side. Doesnt make sense to have possibly blocking your view by needing to be on drivers side. Funny how states are different on so many things.

That is a good idea! I have some leftover Cleartastic material that helps prevent rock chips on the paint and I'm going to try that on the inside of the windshield. I'll place the registration and inspection stickers on it and then press it on the inside of the windshield. This way no one can peel it off from the outside.
