I just got home and gave both of my kids hugs. It was a fun day and a very sad day seeing these kids.It makes you grateful to be healthy in life.Life is to short. We don't appreciate how great it is until we see these kids. As I left D and Wayne I got a call from my best friend Nick. He was crying on the phone. His Cancer came back.I'm heart broken. The fun day with all of you turned out to be a very painful day.Just an hour ago we were laughing are ass off with D and Wayne and now I feel like a ton of bricks smacked me in the head.

We finally did a drive for a good cause and didn't tear up someone's neighborhood like we normally do. Probably the only time we could drive legally at 100 plus with no fear of the law. Vipers stole the show, as Dimitrios had shock and awed the audience with a bright yellow roar of 800HP. The kids getting out of his car after an explosive ride were just beaming. The event should have had local news coverage on TV but didn't. It would have been an awesome broadcast. 30 plus exotics giving kids the ride of a lifetime with police escorts. Can't ask for better than that!

What happened to Keith? Is he still tied to a bedpost. That's why he keeps missing great events.

Its always good to put a smile on somones face and give them somthing they will never forget......
When i had my Gen1 i was at a garage (they had a GTS for sale)and there was a young boy there with his Dad talking photos but the garage wouldnt let him sit in it,So i said he could sit in mine for for the photos.I then got in the drivers side and took him for a drive around for 10/15 mins..
That 10/15mins made him forget all about his illness and pain..
Made his day and mine for putting a smile on his face...

Thats great guys! We're so lucky to own cars like these, we really should take every chance we get to make someone's day with either a ride or just letting them sit in them. I was talking to a kid's mom at a carshow and she was saying how her son had seen a couple Vipers but never been able to get close to one b/c theyre always roped off. When I told her he could get in mine, she responded "You're joking, right?" I'm not sure who was happier, him or his mom. His dad was saying "Ahhh great, he's gonna be bouncing off the walls for the rest of the day now!" It was quite funny. They didnt have a camera, so I let the mom take a couple pics with my digital camera and I emailed them to them when I got home. I used to be the same way when I'd see a Viper, so I remember what its like to spot a Viper and be lucky enough to sit in it and have your photo taken. It takes maybe 5 mins out of our day, but means a lifetime to the child.

The event was def great.Even the cop who looked like he had a pole up his ass started to smile when we approached him.I said to Him , hey yo..pss..listen up kid.You see the guy in the yellow Viper. The one that says 800hp.He says yeah..I say when he pulls out make sure you ticket his ass. All kidding aside I was waiting for tiger to be tide up on a police car hood and dragged in.Tiger I swear that picture makes my day. What in your life were you thinking of? Please fill us in.I mean if that pic doesn't win the Time magazine cover of NJ *** LIFE I quit!!!

Thanks man.Thats kid I think his name was Zach, he was the one that got to me the most.I was truly thinking of the kid last night.Imagine, we think about bullsht stuff like cars and bills while this kid might not even be here in a year.It was pretty cool listening to him saying he wanted to be an actor. The words he was articulating sounded like a grown man.God bless that kid and I hope they all make it.

Tony, sorry to hear about your friend after having such a great day. We have to consider putting on a similar event. It was so worthwhile.

Russ, it was great meeting you, maybe we can take the chargers on an event someday. I have a 70 R/T 440 Plumcrazy. I definitely would like to see the 99 Busch car. The sound of it must be incredible.

Charlie I swear I WOULD LOVE TO GO.I'm pissed I can't go.I'll make it up at another event.promise you that. Wayne isn't it ironic we were talking about him at the park? About 20 minutes after I left you guys I get a call from him.I pray to god he makes it.Once again I emphasize that without health the rest is all BS
