Rim Damage!!!!!

I took my new rims (The WP6 5 Spokes) into the shop to get the old tires put on them. I walked into the place and noticed that they damaged the clear coat on one of my new rims (It is damaged around the lugnut area from when he spun the tires). My question is can the clear coat be fixed and will it last?

it cannot be touched up, if it is a clear powder coat. it would need to be stripped and repowder coated. if it is a clear coat(paint) it prob can be touched up.

make sure that the damage is noted on the work order and make the shop replace the rims. If they give you any greif call your state DMV and contact Dealer and Repair division
