Saw old Delbert at the Bay Front Blues Festival in Duluth--1994..as we were returning from the Black Hills. His son was in the band. Good show. He's a Lubbock, Texas boy circa 1940. He had just played the Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis. We were there by car for the doings, but with an 11 yr. son, the Buffalo Chip was not an option. My son got enough new 'life experiences' just doing several of the 'loops' and spending some time on the main street of Sturgis.

Here's one I made a few years ago. There's just too darn much stuff out there to please everyone. Pretty obvious where I lean. I was at the concert in '91 when SRV left us. There will never be another like him.

There's a lot of toe tappers on that compiled CD.......if you like that sort of thing.

I'll have to find some Jon Spencer and give it a listen.
