Has anyone tried the Roe exhaust on their SRT, I was wondering how it compared to the Corsa track or Mopar Street exhaust. From talking to them, they say they have eliminated the front to back movement that has always been an issue with the Corsa track and others.
Thanks

I have the Roe exhaust on my 03 for 6 months now. pros; saves prox 32lbs over stock, way cooler temp side sills, much more agressive and louder exhaust note, very cool growl at wot, no fore aft movement, can't hear wife talking unless at idle when top is down.
cons; much more agressive and louder exhaust note, after first ten miles of test driving front clamp not able to tighten sufficiently to secure pipe from rotating so i had to take sills back off and pin the connections on each side, no trouble since.

Carmen,

Sounds like the one you need, Nice and Loud!! Let me know when you get it on. I would like to hear it and would be willing to test drive it and give you a honest opinion on the sound. :nana:

I got a PM that painted a somewhat different picture of the Roe system...

What's the gist of the PM?

I'm trying to pick an exhaust for a garage DIY winter install, and I keep flipping around which to choose.

I installed the Belanger cat-back on my 2000 RT/10 & it was excellent. They make one for the SRT too, so I'm strongly considering it. But there are several other choices; I'm also considering the Mopar - the Corsa track seems like it'll be too loud for what I'm looking for, based on input I've found on this forum. AtRo looks good, I swear by MagnaFlo (I love the sound on my 03 Mustang Cobra)& that's what they use, but the price is up there & I don't know if it's as DIY friendly as others.

I've never had consternation like this over a friggin exhaust - makes me laugh at myself.

Dave.

And you guys are not helping by throwing all the other names in the hat!!! Just kidding - but I just found out my set I put on my Cobra are costing me somewhere around 70HP, so now I am really starting to get loopy cause I got to find two sets!!! BTW - ones on my Cobra are spiral baffles - don't use them.

Yes, from what was sent to me, there is a great deal of drone from the Roe and similar clamping issues, and based on the fact that they use Borla mufflers for the integral part of their exhaust, I would say that the Borla would do the same thing. The search is narrowing. For me it is now between the Corsa Track (again), and the Belangers (which I have not heard). I had B&B on my GTS and was never happy with it, the Mopar race will probably cause more trouble than its worth (going catless), the Mopar street will probably not be much of an improvement over stock, and the Roe and Borla will have more drone than I want. It would be nice to have all of them available to hear.

The only reason you didn't like the B&B was because you heard my Corsa.
You should have had Bill put on the Corsa before he shipped it to you. Now all your going to do is talk about it for the next two years. :bonker:
You'll only have this one for a little while anyway, so get the exhaust on the new one and let me know so I can buy the one you have now and put a Corsa on it. :D

You just want me to get the Corsa so you can hear what yours used to sound like (when you drove it).
Since you never join us for any cruises, you won't have to listen to me complain :nana:
