Has anyone used the smooth tubes and air filters from Roe Racing instead of K&N? Any advice which is the better way to go?

Same here. The S&B air filters are easy fits in the air box. The K&N's require a hack saw I believe.

Go with S&B - The one's Roe sells. Common consensus is they are a better fit. I use 'em and never had any issues. Have the Roe smooth tubes as well, which work perfectly.

We have used both K&N's and S&B's...S&B's seem to work well...AND, as mentioned, are a better fit than the last 8 sets of K&N's that we bought.

What part of AB you from? If you ever head east (Manitoba) let me know. Last summer we had 12 Vipers and owners from IA, MN, WI, AB, SK and of coarse MB.

I'm from Calgary, AB. I just bought a 2000 gts black with silver stripes in September of last year. I love the car but haven't exactly had any chances for a decent road trip yet.
