I checked the oil level on the s/c today for the 1st time in a few weeks. It was a little under the lower of the two notches on the stick. This is the 1st time since installation in January I've had to add any oil to it. I've only put about 500 miles on it since the install.

A) what is the proper level to fill to (in relation to the marks)
B) how often (mileagewise) do you have to add oil to it
C) should I stop along the way to Dallas to check the level

TIA,

Michael

I was told that it will find a happy level once it gets done puking out the breather hole, but it seems to keep puking out, so I finally added some oil and put it back to the top mark. It took around 1,500 miles to go from the top mark to the bottom mark. I think it depends on how many times you get on it. The Mobil one seems to clear to accurately measure, so I added Amsoil 20-50 and I can read the mark better. If not, hold the dipstick against a brown paper bag to get the proper reading. It is not that critical, but obviously don't let the oil level get to low.

Kenne Bell says anywhere between the two lines. I assume the Roe is similar since it is the same compressor.
