Hi all. I decided to replace my home made tubes with a set of samcos from roe.
The problem I was having in this picture I am having with both sets of hoses. The angle from the T-bodies to the airbox is too abrupt for a conventional hose.

This is happening with any and all hoses I try. Anyone ever dump the airbox and stick some conicals on the end? Anyone have pics or experience? I saw Vipermeds airbox which is really nice but I dont want to dump that kind of burger on an airbox.

It figures I would be stuck at the easy part. :)

Thanks!!!

My stock ACR hoses have gentle bends in them to go down to airbox level, so I just rotate them 90 degrees and they fit pretty well - not perfect, but no kinks like you have. I also bet the kinks will go away if you bevel cut the ends of your straight hoses, so you can come off the TBs at an angle.

Very Nice! I agree with Keith Verges - cut the hoses at an angle on the throttle body side and the kinks should go away. I made my smooth tubes and had to cut at an angle per the "how to" section and they fit perfect. Your angle may be different than what is stated in the "how to".

Good Luck!
