Autoform or Partsrack........they both offer a bolt-in rollbar for around $1200.00

Andrew, I bought the autoform rollbar powdercoated black from Partsrack.
Installed it myself. Install was not to difficult except it was a PITA
having to put in the car and then take it out getting it fo fit perfectly.
Must have taken it out at least 10-15 times. You also need help doing this.

I installed the BTR bar and it went in perfect. It has an advantage in that you can also install the removable side bar if the track wants a cage. It does not get in the way and you don't know it is there.

did you have to cut the bulkhead panel to get it installed in the car? can you post some pics of the install points where they mount. i am trying to decide between the BTR and the autoform, but i like the idea of having the side beam.

Installed the Autoform all by myself. Only 1 trial fit, trim the excess bulk head & install. I was doing 6 point harnesses at the same time, the Autoform bar took less time than the harnesses.
Got the standard, powder coated black and it includes a new upper center console and trim piece, very high quality. Looks great in the car and does not interfere with the interior or access.

Hello All,

Chuck, thanks.....

Eric,

Email me and I will send you pics...

Simms,

About 6 weeks.

GTS,

We do not include interior trim. I have found that cutting
the stock piece is the best procedure. There are aftermarket panels available, but they are thin and not
insulated. The stock rear panel really helps eliminate rear end and road noise, not to mention the glove box and
netting. If cut correctly (which is easy to do) the appearance of the installed bar is OEM quality.

Thanks,

Tom
