Iam sick of scammers, let them show up just to wear their asp out with a baseball bat, and then call the cops and tell them they were trying to rip off your car, which would be a fact.....my 02

I just scammed a scammer for about a week.

Some ***** with a wife that had ****** cancer, you know the usual story.... He was selling a Mini Cooper for 4000.

I wasted his time for 7 days asking million questions, always offering cash... He eventually got tired and gave up.

Here's the latest:

Since is an over seas deal i am going to ask for this deal to be completed using an eBay service for this kind of transactions. so here's how this service works;

payment will be sent to an eBay employee , they will check the payment and if funds ara avilable they will notify me to start with delivery. As soon as shipping has been done i must email eBay with all information from shipping co along with the tracking #. eBay will not relese the payment to me until you (the buyer) will receive and be able to inspect the car, payment will be relesed to me only with your approval. If you don't get the car as seller advertised they you will ship the car back at my cost and eBay will send you full refound back.

If this sounds ok for you please send the folowing information so i can be able to open a new case with eBay regarding our deal.

your eBay Id
full name
address
city/state
zipp
country
phone # & shipping address if it's different.

As soon as i have requested information i will start the registration with eBay and you will be contacted by they over email with all steps necesary in order to complete your part of this deal.

Thanks and looking forwoard to receive that info so we can move on.

........................................

Sounds complicated. I have the cash, so how about a quick deal? Thats what you wanted, right?
I can have you the 4000 dollars tonight!
Since you are in Ohio and only few hours from me, I can just drive to you and pay cash. I have the bucks ready to go.
Would this be OK with you?
I can be there tonight if you want!
Can you e-mail me any documentation of the car, like title or something similar?

Thanks!

.....................................

Hah, Haa, I had my fun, go after them, its a good sport!!!!!!!!!!!!! :2tu: :curse: :bonker: :nono: :hitfan:

I recently received an email inquiry from a "dealer" offering to sell my car. (The one I'm trying to unload after buying the Viper) It was also from a free Yahoo email account. If they can't afford anything more than a free email account, they are obviously scam artists. Nowadays, I just assume that every inquiry is a scam artist until they show up at my door, and then I use extreme caution.

this seems like a scam to me...when i was looking for my viper i ran into a lot of jokers like this. someone who was a u.s. citizen but lives in italy, germany and france...these people tried to scam me three times, three different countries, not realizing i was the same person each time!

tell them to use escrot.com to send you the money...it is the only escrot service in the u.s.! my guess is they will want to use some other service in the czech republic or something! if they agree (to use escrot.com) have them pay the fee, and one of the escrot.com operaters will let you know when the money is in there. then and only then you'll release the car! if they don't agree, tell them you will only deal in a certified check from a u.s. bank...and when the money is deposited and accounted for then they can come and pick the car up...there are a lot of scams with certified checks...so make sure the check clears before you release the car, if you are going to try this at all!

Hey AZTVR, You are one of the other 21 Graphite/Silver ACR's ever built. 22 were built, 8 of the 22 were built w/o comfort group. I wonder how many of us are still in existence.

Doesn't anyone wire money anymore? Heck every time I buy something overseas THEY make me wire them the money. So, do the same. Just tell them to wire you the money and you'll ship the car right out.

I recently had someone wanting to buy a clutch from me. They sent two money orders and then said ooops, I sent too much money. Please send back the difference immediately!! I said no way in H***. I told them the checks (money orders) would have to clear my account first. They then got really pushy about the refund. ("Would you believe that the two money orders were counterfeit) as I suspected. They gave me an address to send the difference too, so I contacted the police in Amsterdam with this information.
""Guess what the name was"" It was Sandie. Seems a little strange that this person is Sandy.
Wish someone would get their hands around his neck.
