Had a MO State Hi-Po turn around in the middle of the road just to pull me over for having no front plate. He asked if the plate was in the car and I said "No, it's at home because the car has no front brackets to attach it to." He then got me out of the car and began to search the whole car. Under the seats, behind the seats(which he couldn't really do either, ha-ha), you name it. Then I got a $50 ticket for no front plate.

YOU GOTTA LOVE IT!

Matt,

Depending on your state, I believe most are considered "fix-it" tickets. You put your front license plate on, then show an officer and have him or her sign off.

Some of the guys from the local Viper Club recently said they carry their extra with them in the trunk.

I was just thinking about all the posts I see about getting a lot of "cop" attention in peoples' respective areas. I suppose the reason I am not messed with (knock on wood...so far!) is because it is such an affluent area. I still don't see many Vipers, but BMW M5's are all over the place. I literally saw 2 the other day within 1 minute of leaving my place. M3's are a dime a dozen, and Mercedes are very popular.

A couple weeks ago I was beside a Lambo. Coutach (sp?) near L.A.

Good luck with your ticket-

No front plate?! You should be in jail!!! Put you in the cell next to OJ Simp...oops, he's not in jail, next to Rodney King...oops, he's not in jail, Timothy McVeigh...yeah. You should be in jail with Timothy NcVeigh. Criminal. You're a real menace to society, you people with no front plates. Well at least the state got their 50 bucks. Feel comfort that they'll put it to good use.

How often can they give you a ticket for no plate? Every week? Every day? Every hour? Could they break you?
