Seatbelt can\'t catch me

Please, SOMEBODY STOP ME!

My Drivers sideseat belt, in my 2000 GTS, quit catching or holding under heavy braking and hauling a&#.
Anyone ever have this problem? If so, Is it easy to fixed?



2000 GTS Steel Grey
6 piston Baer claws up front, Front brakes in back, Quaife differential, GKH half shafts,

Andrew, sometimes crap gets into the ratchet mech. on the seatbelt. I don't know what yours looks like but i
I've had that happen on quite a few cars, you wouldn't believe what ends up in the ****** of your car!!!!!!!! Sometimes you can take the covers off the ratchet mech. and take out the foriegn traitor and it'll work like new!!!! Either that or the mech. crapped out,,, need a new one.

I'll pull it apart and check to see if anything is stuck in the mechanism. I was hoping someone who had already fixed the problem and could tell me the EASY my of fixing it now.

It's funny, I just started looking for ACR 5 point harnesses when it broke. Cars are funny
