You should find a brief description of your Vehicle Theft Security System in your owners manual detailing it's components & operation. A more detailed description should be available from your dealer, or factory service manual.

Can anyone please provide me with written factory information about what type of security system is on a 2001 GTS and what it entails (i.e.- Passive, active, kills switch, etc)?
I can get a decent insurance premium reduction depending on how good the system is.
