I don't have any experience with Seibon Viper products, but I did have several Seibon pieces on my 350z (hood, wing, front lip spoiler) and they were all very good fitment, and very minimal flaws in the fiber weave (a couple flaws in hood, couldn't find any in the wing/spoiler). Overall a great product & company from my experiences. Only downside was wait period, had to wait about 3 months to get my hood.
The problem was no one has actually bought or seen one on a Viper, my thought was to get an update and find out if anyone has gotten one yet. I just ordered one so I will have to answer my own question.
I signed up as a dealer for Siebon and since last Sept they tell everyone that they have some coming in in 6 to 10 weeks, if you have one on order, it will be another 6 to 10 weeks from now,.... or more, LOL
They make a lot of good products in the Subaru world (minus hood as it's already very light from the factory). I assume that they would carry that over to the Viper world. The S2000 roof they make is sweet too. Nick
Is this a knockoff Seibon hood? Looks a few hundred cheaper: 03-09 Dodge Viper Carbon Fiber Hood Bonnet : eBay Motors (item 300402797857 end time Apr-01-10 19:29:20 PDT)
Absolute garbage, made in China...run the other way....oh and read their return policy.....don't be fooled guys.
Steve, aka GTS-R 001, has the best fitting and looking 08 style hood outside of OEM. The money you might save on buying a junk hood, you will more than pay in trying to make it fit.
Ahh, I remember that hood now. More aggressive looking than the Gen 4 hood with the bigger hood bulge. Hmmm...
