The new wheels and tires arrived and I'm loving them. Got the 18" black OZ Racing wheels with Toyo R888 tires. I knew there would be a big difference between the old PS2s that came with the car, but it is truly extreme!

In the weeks prior to picking up the car I searched high and low for a silver with blue stripes GTS with black wheels. I know the combo is rare and wasn't able to find one, so I decided to make my own!

Comparison of the two next to each other:

Nice, it looks good. Probably the first one I've seen with black rims. Thought about doing it on my siver/blue GTS, but I think I would have to go with a five or six spoke.

Its crazy how rims change the entire look of a car. For the better. Very nice.

Well done and HUGE difference between the oem stuff. Looks much better. I got the 18 inch OZ set for track only with slicks and really like them.

I'm really glad I went with the black wheels. They are really hard to photograph, but look really good in person!

Not a fan of black wheels usually but in your case I do like them a lot. I think silver compliments the black. Good job, now put this car down to the ground.:2tu:

I'd love to, but I scrape the front coming out of my driveway no matter the angle or speed... It hurts my insides every time I do it! ;)

Redo the bottom of the driveway. Mine is lowered and I scrape too. Sounds like your driveway is pretty steep since you scrape and your car is not even lowered. :D

IMHO.... When you do wheels with stock suspension, you still have that 4X4 stock look.... lower it and it will be a huge difference.
