Sirius & RBQ - Maybe I\'m slow...

I just installed Sirius Satellite to the stock "RBQ" radio in my 05 SRT-10.

The system is working great even though I have not finished the install yet.

Question: How do you get the artist and song information to display? All I get is the channel # and name. I think I've tried every combination of key strokes with no success.

Has anyone been successful in getting it to display?

you can't, unfortunately. Only the RB1 (and possibly RB4) can do that. The non-navi radios with the exception of RBB and RBK only display channel # and channel name. The RBB and RBK only show the channel #.

to put a finer point on it, the RB1 actually has an extra pin on the 10-way AUX input to handle this information. for most uses (CD-changer, U-connect, etc.) only 8 of the 10 pins are used, with the other two left as no-connect. RB1 uses one of those to receive Artist/Title information from the SDARS tuner, since it isn't capable of receiving this info over the J1850 link. No other radio is equipped to do this.
