Six cars and nearly 2,700 hp in 8 hrs!

Two weeks ago I was able to "test" drive 6 of the best cars made today. World class driving out of Miami came to San Diego with an F430, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bently GT, Masarati grand sport and a new BMW M6. Four of the cars were brand new, just broken in with less than 600 miles on the clocks! 12 drivers switched off driving evry 30 min or so on public roads in So Cal early on a Saturday morning with almost no traffic. It was great. When it was all done, I jumped in the Viper for the drive home. Other than the F430 and the Lambo, the Viper was far ahead of the other four cars and very close to the two top cars. Add a paddle shift to the Viper, and it would be too close to call.

It's not a job, it a pay to play experience. When I signed up it was cheaper than it is now, but still a bargin. They have just added a new viper to their fleet! You can get more info at their web site http://wcdriving.com/us.php Their fleet now includes the following: FERRARI F430, LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO, BENTLEY GT, FORD GT, ASTON MARTIN DB9 VOLANTE, CORVETTE Z06, FERRARI MODENA SPYDER, MERCEDES SL AMG, PORSCHE TURBO, MASSERATI QUATTROPORTE, BMW M6 AND VIPER. They said that they have gone through three DB9's and will not offer it anymore. One blew an engine and two had continuois electrical problems.

Taylor Hicks owns a Viper! Dude won American Idol and went out and bought himself a GTS. Seriously I have thought about doing this exact thing. I believe there is another company that does it also for something like $995 and you drive 6 different cars for 30 minutes each also. About a 6 hour deal as you stop and talk about each car after your drive in it and then throw in a lunch in the middle of the experience. Sounds like a blast!

Yes, he did a Ford commerical as they sponsor American Idol. However I was commenting that the dude in these pics looks just like Taylor Hicks just a little older.

When American Idol was airing, I used to get stopped alot and asked if I was him. I always answered yes, that TV cameras really make you look 20 years younger and 40 pounds lighter. When asked to sing to prove it, it always said that I had to save my voice for the final show.
