smog check needed with registration in good ole CA

Hi All....thanks for all the help to date. My wonderful liberal state of CA wants me to get a SMOG cert. along with my overpriced registration. Any comments/suggestions for a good place to go in the LA or San Fernando Valley?

Is your Viper’s motor or exhaust modified to the point you might have an issue with smog or a visual??

If not find someone close and check prices. For a stock post 2000 vehicle all they do is plug into the OBD2 port and open the hood and also check the gas cap

If you have mod’s that are concerning, post that up.

I have a guy in Paramount that can do it. You will need the OEM computer though. My car is cat-less with an aftermarket computer, that I change out every 2 years.
