It is attached to the gas cap area. It is a flap that protected the side of the car from the pump. I believe all the cars have it or maybe just RT/10s?

Does somebody have a picture of it? I do not have any flap that protects the side of my car (2001 ACR) when I am refueling. The pump handle sits approximately 0.25" from the body, but the handle never touches the body (at least with all of the gas stations I have been to). Does the flap fold up behind the gas cap when it is not in use? I notice that the gas cap location on the RT/10 differs from the ACR... maybe the ACR and GTS do not have the flap being referred to.

Enough of all this, I'm dying to know -- did they get the flap out of your gastank? Was it a big deal -- you said it wasn't expensive?!!

Not a big deal. I think it was just the cost to replace the flap and a little labor.

Yes, a lot better.
That is what I was thinking. Maybe GTS's just do not have it.
When not in use, the flap sits over the gas cap.
