So. Any suggestions? I think I'm leaning towards and open trailer figuring that I will throw a cover over the car when I take a trip. I'd be pulling it with my dakota, which has plenty of room for things also. Plus, the open trailer is much less obtrusive and easier to fit in my back yard. Used is fine with me.
Thanks,
Andrew

First...you can't cover the car while trailering, the cover will beat the car up. 2nd, you are very limited with your truck as to how much weight you can pull. You really need a bigger tow vehicle to pull anything more than an open trailer with the Viper on it. Tow ratings are really exagerated these days as the vehicle will pull the trailer, but stopping, cross winds, etc, can be a real problem. Good luck.

I agree with Matt, DO NOT cover your car on an open trailer. The cover will wear on the finish!!

Check out the Sloan (quick load) trailer. It is a great trailer and the entire bead tilts for easy loading and unloading. Good luck in your search.

I, too have been researching and considering the Sloan (may be interested in your "customer's", JonB). I have a Durango with the 5.9L and towing packages. What is the board consensus regarding this vehicles ability or lack thereof to pull the Sloan? Thanks as always
