So THAT\'s where DC got the rear of the SRT Coupe from...

One of my biggest complaints of the coupe, the rear. The should have wrapped it around.

I doubt it. But since every car co is copying everyone else, who knows? Look at how the c6 copied the viper.

I think that they at least should have used different tail lights, and not the ones from the GTS.

Interesting comparison, but it looks a lot more like a Gen II GTS than a Merc. What a surprise since we all screamed and cried about the SRT and begged them to make a car that looked like the GTS. Now if you meant it should have "wrapped around" like the comp. coupe I would agree. But according to SRT group that could not be done due to federal regs regarding shrouding the rear lights.

That's my picture of the coupe. It was shot at the CEMA show at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum last weekend. The car is a pre-production mule that is being driven by a member of the Viper Team. Production starts this Fall.
