I have a great opportunity to pick up an 06 Viper with 5k miles for $850/mth, but it's solid black :( I hate to turn down that offer, but this will be my one dream car purchase, and I want it blue. It made me wonder if there are any solid blue coupes out there, because I'd love to see some pics. Although the 06 FE coupes are really growing on me.:drive:

According to the Viper Registry there were 65 Blue - No Stripe 06 coupes built, 39 with 5 spoke sidewinder wheels and the balance with the other wheel types. I have one of the 39, and NO it's not for sale!

Do you have pictures, I'd love to see them.

What is the purchase price? $850 a month with how much down and how many months?

$65k is the purchase price. I'm seeing a few low mileage 06 coupes with low miles under $65k. I'm waiting to hear what the exact details are, but it should be a 3yr/12,000 with probably a $2,000 down payment.

You should be able to get a solid black with 5k miles for less than 65K. Unless it is modified I would offer less

I didn't want the black one. If it was a blue, I wouldn't have cared, especially with a payment of $851. My Lexus is $911/month and my M3 is $989/month. Both are financed, but had about $10-15k down on each.

i miss mine :(.

Stunning, Amazing, Beautiful...I'd be here all night if I had to describe how that car looks. It just solidified my idea that blue is the best color for this car. Were you using the Moton Clubsports? Since I won't be tracking the car, I'll probably just go with the Eibach's to get rid of the fender gap. If only I could find a solid blue under $65k. P.S. if you have more photos, stock and modified, could you email them to me at [email protected]? Can you PM me about your overlays also? I have a buddy that wants them for his Z06 sidemarkers, but he wants them really dark. Is it acrylic or tint? Thanks!

Don't forget...I'm just up the road a few miles and I have an FE Coupe for sale. We can make a deal. You sould be able to easily secure an $850 payment for mine. I can even deliver in an enclosed trailer....

Hmm...working out to $1,000/month on the lease calculator.:dunno: Did your car have mods, and did you already sell them?

Oh I see, it is a lease. If so, with that criteria, that is a pretty decent deal. Good luck!

If you do not take the black car, please post the details as someone might go for it if you don't.

I'm waiting for confirmation of the details today, but if anyone is interested in it, post up and I will respond.

in your first post you say purchase, sounds like what you are purchasing is a lease.

The wording may have been confusing, but the purchase price is a factor when calculating lease rates. The selling agency has to negotiate that price to come up with the payments (although the residual and money factor also come into play).

I don't want to put $15k down again to get my payments under $1k/month for a purchase. Who knows, by the time the lease is up, maybe I could get a 08 or 09 Viper.
