Speaking of recalls.

Thusfar, I have just been skipping over all the recall posts(regarding the frame). I assumed they only applied to the early Gen 2's, but do any apply to my 2001? How do I find out? I have not received anything from DC stating I need to have a recall performed.

998 recall - FRONT and REAR on cars built between 1996 - 1st March 1999

999 recall - FRONT ONLY on cars built after the 1st March 1999 to the end of 2000

Don't give in so quick.

If I remember correctly I THINK a VCA member here in KC had an 01 that needed the update.

If my memory is working right I thought we found an 01 needed it when we had a tech day in KC and had Rick Maxwell from Woodhouse come and teach us some basics of maint. and upkeep. We took turns putting a few cars on a rack and lifted them, and wal ah.... an 01 that needed the update. I hope I am remembering this correctly! But I am just about positive this was the case.

Other than trying to contact DC or having a tech inspect the car, does anyone know of a list of VIN's or anything that may determine what cars require this?
