Just looking through my time slips from Ohio. I had three runs on the Michelins:
10.62 @ 139.66
10.69 @ 141.12 sorry Keith and the Underground car
10.60 @ 142.04

If only I didn't have to shift into fifth gear :( Some good air like Bradenton ( 1000' lower corrected elevation )and a different rear gear.....look out BTR and your 10.43

Never ran an all out pass on the et streets, but I did do a 10.42 @ 139 with the autocross tires on all four corners and a no nitrous 10.41 @ 139 on the et streets.

All on a stock 40,000 mile Arrow rebuild with Arrow rockers and 63,000 on the car. Roe s/c and my own version of custom propane/nitrous.

Tony, why did you do a custom propane system instead of BTR's setup? Just curious, the more I've been thinking about it the more I think I want to do a similar setup like your "under the thumb" style.

The main difference in mine and BTR's is that the propane is regulated so I get the same amount of propane all the time. That is one less bottle pressure I have to worry about. I did not want to inject into the smooth tubes, different nozzles because of a different injection location etc. Less expensive. Just to many differences to economically start with the BTR kit. Of course with propane, my STOCK fuel system is not taxed at all with the added benifit of high octane and no fuel injected into a dry manifold. You can still have safty and be "under the thumb" but that is not for everyone. I have had twenty years of "thumb" experience with nitrous so it is second nature to me.

Were are you injecting if it's not through the smooth tubes, are you going straight in to the intake tubes? I'm interested in learning more about your setup. The main reason I don't want a WOT setup is because I don't want to make different tuning cards. I want it under the thumb at all times. I agree with you 100% on the octane advantage of propane.

I won't be able to attend, my car is back at Field's. We can't seem to keep the balancer on. I've sheered two set's of roll pins. I should have it back monday though, we're using solid pins this time.
