Speeding Tickets from Space

UK drivers had better stay under that speed limit, because the traffic authorities are watching… from outer space. According to The Telegraph, an American company called PIPS Technology has developed a system that uses two cameras on the ground and one mounted on a satellite in orbit to catch speeders.

If they had that in my home town I'd get at least 3 tickets on my way to work every morning.

Which is an offence in the UK but is not stringently reinforced.
The UK already has extremely well signposted speed cameras that calculate average speed over a set distance so I fail to see what "satellite technology" will do.

Virtual, RoboCops are of no interest to me. I would put up with a little crime on the streets with out em'. Need that flipping James bond license plate. Add the license plate number of one of the cars the Prime Minister has to add insult to injury. Ha! Ha!
