Great comments. I think the new Viper is going to really be incredible. So many are concerned with the styling, which is obviously DIFFERENT in an evolutional way.

I appreciate your descriptions of the various mechanicals you were able to get a good look at. Please post any more observations or details if you recall any. Those of us who have ordered are probably as anxious for something new to read as I am. I think if there were more informative posts like yours, that a lot of the folks who have not liked the new Viper would come to realize that it is promised to be a BIG improvement in all aspects (styling is personal).

I bought my Viper after a ten year dream period of waiting, and I personally want a better operating and performing Viper. I guess I just don't crave the gawk factor as much as others; I just love to DRIVE the beast! Sure, I will miss the old styling.
