I wanted to keep the positive side of the SRT-10 thread separate from the 1/1,000 who do not like the car and who do not understand the value of the Cert. program.
Thanks Dodge! for the Viper, New and Old!
"The RT10 and GTS body styling are hard to beat.
Team Viper asked the Viper Nation what do you want in the next generation and they sent out a questionnaire asking the same thing.
As I recall little was said about styling except that most owners wanted a real convertible.
Most owners wanted better brakes, more power, lighter curb weight, better 0-60, and 1/4 mile times. A dead peddle, cup holders, cruise control, etc.
We were given the changes and improvements that we wanted.
The 2003 GTS-R styling is very attractive to me.
The 2003 SRT/10 is not as dramatic as the 2003 GTSR but the current RT10 is not as dramatic as the GTS.
Bottom line my dealer (Stevens Creek Dodge) faxed my order last week.
I put a deposit on a 96RT-10 in Aug. of 95 and the feeling I have today is the same.
We were given what we wanted, moooooopower please.
And I like it!
My opinion only!"
