Stock resonators...what do they look like on the inside?

I'm going to get some high flow cats, and was wondering if I should bother replacing the resonators as well. Are they just a straight through design? If yes, they're probably pretty free flowing. Otherwise I could weld in some smaller bullet mufflers.
Resonator inlet/outlet seems to be offset on the pics that I've seen...
thanks :)

Yes, that is what i remember seeing as well.

Also, It is a 2.5" IN and a 2.25" OUT. This achieved with a pipe inside of a pipe inside of a pipe which presents some restriction and enables the muffler to take out more sound.

If you are sticking with stock headers and 2.5" cats then i recommend replacing those side mufflers with 2.5" IN/OUT and having a custom exhaust shop fab up a full 2.5" rear section to replace the 2.25". That would give you maximum flow with a stockish setup.

Surprisingly, I've never seen an aftermarket 2.5" cat-back exhaust system. Just the 2.5 to 3"ers like this one:

Let us know what you end up with and how you like it.
