I second NAPA. And if you are gonna use an impact or a power-tool to install them, put a little bit of anti-sieze on the threads...

JD

Dear god buddy, please tell me you have never ever used an impact or air ratchet on a T-bolt clamp... please please tell me you're just joking in some not funny, very scary way.

btw have you opened it up on your sled yet? I hear it's been running around town but you haven't gotten into it yet. Put your foot in it and lets see some wide open, 20psi 4th gear data logs.

If little ole me can handle that car I'm sure you can. :2tu:

next sunday we should be able to finish up the I/C, fan, radiator hose clamps, install the new hood hinges and get the fascia figured out and prime the fuel system and check for leaks.

Im really pushing to get this dang car started and running on april 1st one way or another.

pretty much just got the fascia cut up to clear the huge intercooler today. had to take off a lot more than i expected but it fits now. im not real sure what to do with the hood release yet...but the fascia isnt actually bolted up yet.

and i got the new hood hinge in and it clears the radiator hose enough for now. soon as i get it running im gonna try to get a pipe bent up for it and then get it chromed.

then put some juice to the fuel pump to check for leaks and had a bad one at the rail. it looks like the O rings are old and hardened. so im gonna replace all of them this week. and found a real small leak at the fuel pickup in the rear at the tank. im hoping just a little tightening will fix THAT.

if all goes right this week and i can get all my parts, im gonna try like heck to fire it up on saturday. and if all goes well, put the hood back on.
