Is it just my imagination, or has Al Gore and the whole "Global Warming" crowd been real quiet over the last 6 months???

I changed my rear diff fluid today, I'm getting close to bringing mine out also. I still want to replace my brake pads before I bring mine out.

Took my GTS to town (440mi.) last week. Had a great drive. Still have a foot of snow in the yard and 18" of ice on the lake though.

Global warming is too close to all the Politican's hearts though. BC gov. added another $.11 gl "carbon tax". This tax will be added to all the other fuel taxes that go into the provinces coffers (.10/ltr "excise tax" - they even ship all BC oils to Alberta so that they can collect the extra 10 cents as it comes back into BC. $.14.7/ltr 'assorted' BC taxes, and about .13/ltr for "transit" taxes).

"Global warming" is all about collecting more taxes and since it's obvious not a penny has gone to any clean up - there must be only "Global warming of the MOUTH and collecting more and more money". If there was truth to Global Warming then the Gov. would be spending money, not just collecting it, don't you agree?

FYI, a month or two ago, while the East was catching up to '70s records for snow and cold the news had an announcement that North America is 4C colder than average. They also announced that while the Polar ice does melt (normal), there was an EXTRA 6" of ice formed this winter (above average). They haven't repeated this though - gov said to shut up?

Speaking about taking Vipers out of storage, when I was going to a local pancake restaurant yesterday I had my Viper Quarterly year 1 issue 1 with me to browse through while waiting for the food to arrive (three red gen 1 RT/10's on the cover remember?).
I have no idea if it was a lucky strike 3 or just coincidence, but as I was coming around a bend in the street where the restaurant was located, out of nowhere I saw a beautiful red gen 1 RT/10 heading towards me that apparently had JUST left the parking lot :omg::headbang:
Had I arrived only a few seconds earlier I could have probably had a chat with the owner as I had not seen this particular Viper in the area before.. oh well.. at least I FINALLY got another Viper fix after a long period of not seeing any, the first of this season.

The working slave masses must make a smaller "footprint" on the environment.
Drive smaller cars. Recycle obsessively.

That way the blue bloods and their future larvea will have more of the earth to plunder.
Sort of like Reagganomics in the 80's.
