Tips and install time on a VEC 2?

How much time can I expecct to spend this weekend installing my VEC2? Any helpful hints? Thanks

Give yourself as much time as needed and have fun!

The most difficult part is routing wires from the VEC into the passenger compartment. Removing the black plug, on the drivers side cowl area, will provide a path without drilling holes. Use a fish wire (bent hanger)but be sure to disconnect the battery since the fish may contact the rear of the fuse holder. Protect the wires by harnessing with electrical tape.

Budget 2 hours if you drink a 12 pack while doing it. 20 min if you work fast. somewhere in between will be you.

Mine doesn't have any wires that go into the passenger compartment.

Just follow the instructions.

Personal advises:
Use a ground on the main frame and never use an existing ground. My prefered ground location is structure supporting the engin. Use a stable +12v source activated by the relay.
