In just 39 days, TireRack's rear tire prices have gone from $382 to $264 to $227 and now to $197 each, making PartsRack's Anniversary Special not-so-special. (PartsRack launched our $249 special when TireRack was $264, and we bought a bunch.)

Luke at TireRack says he had No Way to know in advance, (and neither did PartsRack,) and that SEMA probably resulted in this special deal with TireRack and Michelin.

Now at $197 rears, TireRack is a better deal, that PartsRack must MATCH to stay competitive. (Luke@TireRack even joked that TireRack had to compete w/ PartsRack's lower prices!)

SOoo.....PartsRack will even discount TireRack's price by $10 / SET, just to stay competitive; If you waited til now, it was the correct strategy. So, apologies for offering a lower price 10 days later, way beyond our control or anticipation. {Stu G calls it "Tire Wars") This makes shipped/delivered tires about $830 / set of 4 (average) in 18" ONLY.

$869 was a great price, and Honestly, We had NO WAY to know in advance...but those PartsRack customers who bought a SET OF FOUR during our anniv special will get a $40 PartsRack "goodwill" credit just for the asking. (By E-Mail Please.)
