Hi all, I have a question. First off, I want to but a supercharger on my 05 SRT/10 Viper. My plan is to build the car up to handle +/- 800-850 crank hp. I already have safety equipment and race exhaust, computer controller and comp coup oil pan. My next mods are: Quaife 3:07 LSD, Motons, and braided brake lines. Then I am thinking a race/heavy duty clutch, lightweight flywheel, then into the engine. My question is, is it necessary to put in forged internals? I understand the stock internals can handle a supercharger, but I plan on keeping this car for some time, and plan many track events as well as around town driving. I want to maintain reliablilty over the long haul. I am thinking to do the forged internals, heads, cams, and maybe even headers to increase flow, which should give me a pretty stout N/A engine, then the supercharger will be able to perform to its full potential. Any input would be appreciated. What do you think?
Thanks,
Dave
