Thats what adjuster told me on my 2000 ACR. ended up with a great settlement . thanks to a great insurance agent, I was able to get $43800. The only thing I regret, he offered the car back to me for $7000 salvage title. Wish I had taken him up on that. Wasnt really hurt that bad. Bought wife new loaded 300 chrysler love it I will be shopping for another viper soon

Wow, $7K would've been a good deal....wheels, tires and engine would've covered that.

Yep, you could have parted it out and made some money. Glad you were not hurt. Cars can be replaced.

I am still waiting to hear what my settlement on my 99 acr will be. I have been waiting 8 weeks now. What insurance company were you with? Also, did you have
stated, or agreed value on the policy?
Thanks!

The Insurance company will put it up at a salvage auction, no matter the condition. They don't keep them around. So if you know where the local salvage auctions are then look it up. Chances are it will sell for close or more then they offered it to you.

Looking back at my policy, it was thru Auto Owners Insurance Group, and my settlement was $ 48300 instead of $43800. It had 53000 miles on it. I certainly wish I had taken the $7000 deal, but I didnt and it is gone now. My garage is empty except for a full dresser bike. looking for an old mopar rod of some type

Holy Cow... $48,300 for a 2000 ACR with 53000 miles. Now that, my friends, is a good insurance company.

That's what the vipers should be worth, it's too bad the economy and sellers have devalued what an exotic like the viper should really be worth!!

Not too shabby. Glad you are ok. You should be able to get a very nice replacement for that money.
