I'm sure *** will reply at some point, she only had 2.5 hours sleep last night before going back on shift, probably spending sleeping time tinkering with her viper, again. Luckily it seems, i'll make it through xmas afterall !
The day started off with a 5am start we got to within 20 minutes of the airfield when the pulley failed. Baz and I carried on to the event in the support van as we had bits in the back for other viper team members, and left *** and Joel stranded on the side of the motorway awaiting for the flatbed to arrive. They then went back the opposite way 3/4 of the distance we had already travelled, to borrow the power steering pump and pulley off Mich's GTS.
His pulley had failed a couple of weeks earlier, the night before we were off for a long weekend to the Isle of Man, but he managed a temporary repair. So with the repaired borrowed stuff (and Mich's new unfitted pulley from the Wizard) *** got back to the airfield in the afternoon and managed one run before it to failed. Although **** only run proved to be fast enough to take a unexpected trophy home

So after a long wait it was a even longer journey all the way back to my house on another flatbed, we got home at around 3.30am the following day. After a few hours sleep Nadine was back in the garage fitting the brand new pulley to the pump, enabling her to do the 2.5 hour journey home later that afternoon. The following weekend *** was back up to re-fit Mich's borrowed parts.
Even with all the aggro we still had a great time and managed a few laughs and smiles. Aluminium pulley has now been fitted, and we all look forward to the same event in 2005. Believe **** exhaust is ceramic coated B&B headers and oval tipped catback, with no cats.
Anyway (probably) my last post before Christmas Day, so you all have a fab time
and great New Year.
