They had some extremely talented drivers setting those laptimes, however. I'd expect the Viper to do well at Thunder Hill, as it's a fairly fast track which favors horsepower. I was disappointed they didn't include the "twins" Viper and Neon ACR...
FWIW, this article brings up an interesting data point in the whole "car vs bike" discussion. I have personally run faster times at Thunder Hill on my YZF-R1 than any of those cars, and the *fast* guys routinely get into the 1:50s on near-stock bikes with street tires.
