transmission difference between 2008 and 2013?
Are there any advantages to changing gearbox to 2013 from 2008?
(2013 Dodge Viper SRT10 TR6060 6-Speed Transmission)

Thanks

The gear ratios are different...you'd want to make sure you were running a 3.55 or steeper gear in the rear to compensate.

I was out driving and it begin to sound and look turned out that it was the gearbox that sounded like a metal lathe. I disengaged and then not working the gearbox. Repair or buy new?

My initial reaction is to say repair, but seeing that you are in Sweden, I'm not sure how feasible that is. There are a few places here in the States where you can easily repair it, and add upgrades if wanted (like a taller 5th and 6th gear cluster).

Regardless, unless you want to change the rear gear ratio at the same time, I'd stay with the '08-'10 version of the 6060.
