Tread on Michelin tires

I'd like to figure out how much tread I have left on my pilots. What is the depth of the tire tread for new tires and at what depth should they be replaced?

Not sure about tread depth, but if they are 5 years old or older, replace them no matter how much tread is left!

just measured a new front Michelin pilot sport it has 8mm in the center of the thread pattern
