Recently my trunk requires two or three pushes on the remote to actually release (I can hear the mechanism working on the earlier pushes, but it doesn't actually release). What's the likely issue and fix? (I'd rather not wait for the release not to work and have to deal with it when that happens.)

Easy fix: There are two hex shaped spring bolts that help open up the trunk. Unscrew them one turn or two, and it should solve the problem...

Thanks, I'll try that! How does that affect it? It's worked fine until recently...
