I really thought that it would pain me much more when this day would come. I certainly did not expect the situation that I have now encountered. My wife has been ill for several months now and has now lost a high amount of muscular strength and has constant bone and joint pain. She has been tested for MS, Lupus, and RA. Her doctors have nevertheless been unable to diagnose her condition. We have already been inundated with medical bills and can only expect more. This made it much easier to decide to sell my car.

I thought that I would post it here for a week or so prior to posting in autotrader. It is my dream car.... a well cared for 96' GTS B/W. There are a few cosmetic flaws but they are extremely minor. I bought it in June and it came with 6k miles. It now has less than 7,500 miles. The inside is very clean. I never even wear a watch when I drive it to ensure that I do not scratch the left side of the dash. Everything is original but the smooth tubes and K&N (I do have the original parts). I believe that the 52-55k range would be reasonable price to ask, and well received on my part. However, due to the circumstances at hand I will need to sell it quickly. I know that the majority of you would not take advantage of my situation and therefore a reasonable offer will be considered immediately. Please see my avatar for pictures.

Thanks,
Martin

Good luck with the sale, and best wishes on your wife's recovery. They will find the cause, and you can begin treatment and the road back to health hopefully will be swift.

Martin,

I send this letter in hopes that it will help your wife's condition. My wife and a friends wife had similar problems to your wife. (add to the list headaches, fatique, depression and irratibility)

After trying numerous different doctors, we came across a COMPOUNDING PHARMACIST. This is one who specalizes in making specific compounds for customers, rather than just selling pre-packaged drugs. And this one specialized in BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE THEROPY. He gave us a book called Natural Progesterone and a DVD which showed that starting in their 30s, a woman's hormones start to drop and can begin to cause all the types of symptoms your wife and mine had. For many women, the drop in hormones is gradual and many women simply attribute the lack of energy to old age -- when in reality, it is the hormones.

The bioidentical hormones are all natural and have none of the dangerous side effects of synthetic hormones. Since they are made from all natural ingrediends, they can not be patented by and sold by drug companies and therefore, many doctors don't prescribe them. But if you find a COMPOUNDING PHARMACIST that will compound BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES, he can lead you to a doctor which will test your wife's hormone levels, and prescribe bioidentical hormones.

My wife's friend was almost to the point where she couldn't walk and had to be carried. They both started with a natural progesterone cream which is available over the counter at most health food stores. They both use this every day. By itself, this cream has helped tremendously.

I hope this helps.

That really ***** you have to sell it, but it looks like other important issues are at hand. I think you can get what you are asking. I sold m friends blue/white GTS 1997 wth 18K miles on it for $54K

Sorry to hear that. Will pray for you and your wife. I found myself in a similar spot about 2 years ago. Almost gave the car away before things turned around. The car is just a toy, you can live without it or replace it in the future. I'm still working through my own hell and unfortunately could be posting something similar again. :(

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and prayers. I just got home from a long day at work and was extremely happy to see all of the replies.

Go fast for life: I will look into it today. You are probably right, there has to be something there that can help her.

Thanks once again and God bless you all.

Wow... the year seems to have gotten off to a rocky start for a lot of Viper owners. Glad to see how supportive and encouraging other members are here. It's very heartening.

Martin: So sorry to read about your situation. As hard as it is to do, don't forget to take a little time out for yourself every now and then. You'll need it to stay sane and strong for your wife.

You both will be in my prayers.

Martin,
My prayers are out to both your wife and you. I know I live in Austin, but if there is anything my wife and I can do to help you out, please don't hesitate to ask.

Take care,
Ryan

Martin, sorry to hear about your wife's problems. My wife came down with similar symptoms the year before we got married. It took her doctors almost a year to rule out the other possibilities and diagnose her with RA.That was almost 10 years ago. While she has some considerable disabilities(had one shoulder joint replaced and will need the other done eventually),her RA is now under control and she is living with it quite well(better than I would,I think).Hopefully, your wife's outcome will be better. My very best to you both.

Thanks again for all of the support. I do believe that the viper "brotherhood" is a very unique one, and one that I will be anxious to return to after things level out.
