Awesome Bob!
With the sun out tomorrow it should help keep things comfortable.

It's 11PM and I'm heading down to install the lowering kit on the truck.
If I'm a little slow tomorrow, it's because of lack of sleep. :)

This is true, and I reluctantly had to pass. However, I will be sure to let you Columbus guys know when I road trip up there next summer and we'll cruise for sure!

:drive:
Pffft....like you won't be driving that thing around on X-mas morning!
:D :D :D

You are "starting" the install now? Wow. I'm working on my last beer and am looking forward to a nice 6.5 hours of sleep before tomorrow. Hope you don't run into any problems.

See you tomorrow, we hope!!!!! :2tu:

Actually, no. The install will begin shortly.
Right now, I'm trying to get this damn wireless printer to print wirelessly.
I think the network here at the house might be a little TOO secure. :)

When that's done THEN I'll head to the garage and get the drop kit finished.
The front is done, but I had custom SOLID 6061 T-6 aluminum blocks made for the rear. All the current lowering kits for the SRT-10's are crap, and dangerous. So....I designed correct ones (about 15 min), filed a patent (a couple of hours), and had half a dozen sets machined (about 5 bus. days).

I'll bring one of the extra 2" blocks with me tomorrow.
I think you guys will dig them.

One person....no lift....shouldn't take me that long to disassemble, install, then re-assemble the rear end.

The blocks looked great! Fun cruising with the group today. Hope you got your work done in time to watch the Buckeye game.

Looks like fun, I would have joined you but am on my way to New York to pick up a Pitts S2B.

You should do this again in a couple of weeks when the colors are in full.

Awesome ride!
I'm sure you'll enjoy that thing!

You don't see too many Viper owners with TOOL sweatshirts, so props to SapphireBob for that treat. :)

Glad you had a good time, MyViper. Hopefully you'll join us again.

Wasn't sure what year Viper the Pitts S2B was :dunno: Glad you got your priorities straight :D All kidding aside, preliminary talk about a fall foliage cruise later this month in northern Ohio. Expressions of interest are welcomed!

Ask him what engines he has, we have the IA-2500v engines, and I always look for the good tailwinds!:rolaugh:
I have seen 700 knots (groundspeed) in the winter when the jetstream is really strong.

It's funny to see "engines", plural, in a post here.
Now don't you boys go playing around Mach. :D

Well, made it back from NY last night with the Pitts intact. It will make a good winter project as we are going to put all new fabric and paint on hopefully by spring.

Looking forward to that fall cruise in a couple of weeks in NE Ohio.

Here are a few pics:
