VCA renewal gift?

Do I remember that the VCA was sending out a free gift with the membership renewal? Did they do this? am I missing something? Or am i thinking of something else?

I sent my new membership form and money in on October 1, 2001 and have not received any confirmation.

I have received the magazine and newsletter - do they send a membership package out? Is there a card or membership number?

What should I expect?
