The answers to all your questions are pretty much, yes. Though quieter, we have noticed some mild rattling on the new shocks also, at low speed. The key thing is price, and though it can be done, the price would be prohibitive to just take care of noise. Since both of the shocks are a race style shock, the rattle may be annoying , but there is a small measure of reassurance that you can go through corners on a track faster than virtually any other mass produced exotic on the planet. Some respected drivers in the US have gone as much as three seconds faster around a track with their ACR's than they had gone prior in a similarly equipped GTS.Enjoy, and if you need any advice on the settings for your car for the track, feel free to call us. We found the best settings come from two gentlemen on the respective coasts -
Paul Mumford ( California ),winner of the National Championship in Street Prepared at ViperDays, and Tony Gomez ( Florida ) winner of the 2000 Viper/ Vette Shootout in Florida.
