I'm still looking for where to get the small parts to rebuild the OEM non-ABS rear brake caliper and found this . Look at the last page - look familiar? Anyway, any help on getting the Lotus "top guide bush boots" would be appreciated, a quick search didn't turn anything up, maybe because the Elise isn't available in the US yet. This caliper bolt boot is the last part we'd need (I've found everything else) for a general, inexpensive Viper rebuild kit as an alternative to a $300+ purchase of a new caliper.

Tom,

How do you find this stuff? Will see if I can dig any up from my side...

Neil, thanks, I've sent an email.

Ron, how? I'm cheap and I'm persistent (also described as stubborn.) Maybe there's a business in simply rebuilding Viper calipers, besides making them larger. Cardone and the other rebuilders don't do it, and in trying to find all the parts, now I know other (bigger) guys have been trying to get all the parts, too.

Who has paid for new calipers when they only needed a simple repair or rebuild? Or not done it because it was stupid expensive?
