I recently joined the Viper Club, but have not received any materials back yet. My wife is getting ready to buy a new Grand Cherokee tomorrow and I was wondering if it was worth my while to see if the Viper Club opens the door to any discounts through Chrysler.

Just missed out.
The club members were given an Ambassadors program that ended Dec. 31. Allowed us to purchase most Chrysler/Dodge products for 1% under invoice.
I bought my own Grand Cherokee Hemi that way. (Great Jeep by the way).
Discounts list on this site is currently being updated for 05.

Welcome to the club.

My question: Was (is) this available in Canada? And if so, did not hear about it !

Will be looking for Hemi Jeep soon...

Coupons were only passed out to attendees of VOI in Texas. Multiple posts were made on this site by suppliers, dealers, club officers and regular members offering anyone who did not receive a coupon that they would send one of their unused ones. I personnaly gave one of my coupons to another member, unable to attend VOI, who used it to purchase a new Durango.

At the Presidents meeting in Detroit the Ambassador program was discusses. It was believed that Dodge was happy with the results, and MIGHT offer it again in the future.

I might be wrong, but the certificate has some exclusions, and I do not believe it was applicable to Canada or other countries. May have been for US dealerships only.

Some dealerships would not accept the coupons for hot vehicles, (Hemi powered 300's) while others welcomed it for any car covered.

Grand Cherokee's are being priced to sell at dealerships in US. You can usually close a deal near invoice just with a little hard bargaining.
